Kekkei Genkai: The Uzumaki males possess the bloodline limit of the Sage of Six Paths - the legendary Rinnegan. The activation rate of this bloodline is so rare that it most believed it to be a mere myth.

The Uzumaki females have the bloodline known as the Kanzen Tentai, which allows them unnatural longevity, advanced regeneration, and the ability to heal others with their blood.

Secret Clan Jutsu:Fūinjutsu (封印術; Literally meaning "Sealing Techniques") are a type of jutsu that seal objects, living beings, chakra, along with a wide variety of other things within another object. Fūinjutsu can also be used to unseal objects either from within something or someone.

History:The Uzumaki clan (うずまき一族) was a prominent clan in Uzushiogakure. They were the direct descendants of the Sage of Six Paths, along with their branch clan - the Senju, who used to belong to the same clan in the past.
The Uzumaki Clan was at first divided into two families - The Main Family and the Branch family. The Main branch consisted of pure blood Uzumaki clan members. All of the females in these families possessed the Uzumaki bloodline - the Kanzen Tentai. Because of the rarity of activation of the male bloodline Rinnegan, the males mostly didn't activate it and thus its existence was uncertain.
The Branch family, jealous of the Main branch for possessing their bloodline - killed their own clan head and took his sword - the Ryūjin, and then deserted the clan. Later they came to be known as the Senju clan and established Konohagakure no Sato.
Even after their desertion, the Uzumaki tried to maintain a good relationship with their blood relatives. The now named Senju, in greed of acquiring more power didn't give in to their hate for the Uzumaki and thus accepted the alliance between Uzushiogakure and Konohagakure. The alliance was solidified by the marriage of the new clan head's daughter Uzumaki Mito to Senju Hashirama.
Later on, the Uzumaki clan was attacked by the joint forces of Kumogakure no Sato of Lightening Country, Hidden Mist Village of Water Country, and the Hidden Stone Village of Earth Country. Outnumbered, they asked for help from Konoha - but recieved none, as the Senju didn't see any benefit for the leaf by helping the Uzumaki survive any further.
The Uzumaki fought vailantly, eliminating three fourth of the combined forces, but in the end, the clan was annihilated.
